COVID-19 Rules

For In person courses, as a small business owner Urban Birth Plus will be imposing Germany rules.

Payments

The full amount is payable at the time of booking a course or if using the payment plan, full amount to be paid in 3 monthly installments. Booking forms must be completed by parents/carers attending any course at Urban Birth Plus and emailed with the signed terms and conditions before the start of the course. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to inform the instructor of any changes to the consent form on a weekly basis. Payments are made online.

Cancellation

If you cancel a pre-booked course giving two or more weeks’ notice of the start of the course, a full refund will be given. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance a full refund will be made.

Cancellation within two weeks of the course start date or withdrawing during a course is classed as a cancellation and no refund will be given for remaining classes. I reserve the right to cancel a course/workshop if there is a problem with the venue or the class size. In the event of cancellation made by Urban Birth Plus, a full refund will be given. Should we go into another lockdown classes will be moved online- No refund will be given.

Absence due to sickness

Refunds/discounts are not given for sessions missed within a course due to sickness-arrangements will be made for you to attend the next available course that has space available, so that you can catch up on any missed classes.

Photographs

Photographs will only be taken of you and your baby if you have agreed by signing the consent form. Any photographs taken in the classes will be used for advertising and marketing purposes only. We will never take photographs of your baby during massage when they are fully naked, only when they are wearing a nappy and/or clothes and only if you have given your consent. Parents are permitted to take photographs of their child but only their child during classes.

Hypnobirthing​ 

For all clients attending The Calm Birth School classes, please read and type your name and date your booking form before commencing the classes. I hereby state that I am registering attendance of The Calm Birth School classes of my own free will and have full understanding of the following:

• That The Calm Birth School has been designed to teach me to use my own natural abilities to bring my mind and my body into a state of relaxation.

• That The Calm Birth School Instructor will utilize and teach a variety of techniques for the purposes of enhancing physical and emotional  relaxation and to build confidence for my baby’s upcoming birth.

• That my success  depends  greatly on  my own ability and desire to practice what is taught  during classes.

• That I have other choices from which to seek antenatal education, and I have chosen The Calm Birth School classes at this time.

• That the content of these classes is in no way intended to be represented as medical advice nor as a prescription for medical procedure. I am aware that  I should seek the advice of a medical doctor to answer any health-related issues, questions or concerns that I may have surrounding my pregnancy, my labour or the delivery of my baby.

• I certify that I am in good health,  both physically and mentally and that there are no  health related problems or reasons why I should not participate in The Calm Birth School classes. I therefore agree that I will in no way hold The Calm  Birth School Instructor providing these classes, The Calm Birth School, its Directors or representatives, responsible for any special circumstances that could arise as a result of my pregnancy, my labour, or the delivery of my baby; and I agree that neither I nor any member of my family will make any claim or initiate any suit against them now or at any time in the future. I understand and sign this docucment under my own free will.

Contraindications

Hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis has not been proven safe for those under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or for those with a history of psychosis, schizophrenia, epilepsy, delusions, bipolar disorder or certain types of personality disorder. Proceed with caution and at your own risk under the advice of your doctor should you wish to try my online hypnobirthing materials.

Urban Birth Plus provides paid-for access to hypnobirthing audio MP3 files hosted by The Calm Birth School. Direct downloads can be made to computer / Android devices. iPhone users may stream (play) the files using WiFi or mobile data, or transfer files using their computer and iTunes. No liability is accepted if clients experience problems with iTunes.
